Our Impactful Community Contributions
February 10, 2025
We proudly continued our tradition of supporting non-profit organizations across Marinette, Oconto, and Brown Counties in Wisconsin, as well as Menominee and Marquette Counties in Michigan. In 2024, we donated over $158,000 in scholarships and monetary contributions to aid local non-profits in their vital missions.Greg Salmen, President and CEO of SNBT, emphasizes the bank's commitment to community leadership. "At SNBT, our commitment to the community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that by supporting local non-profits, we can help create a brighter future for everyone. Our contributions are more than just financial; they represent our dedication to fostering growth, education, and well-being in the communities we proudly serve."
Our commitment is evident through our financial education programs, countless volunteer hours, and significant monetary donations to numerous non-profit organizations. The impact of just three of these contributions is highlighted by the heartfelt stories from recipients, showcasing the real difference our support has made. By sharing these inspiring stories, we aim to encourage more community members to get involved and support other meaningful causes.
CASA of Menominee/Marinette will use this donation to serve two additional children in need. Currently, CASA of Menominee/Marinette supports 33 children across Menominee and Marinette Counties. Each child requires approximately $2,680 per year to cover the costs of recruitment, training, staff support, and other direct and indirect expenses essential to fulfilling CASA's mission.
Little River Fire Department will be using this donation to upgrade their gear washing machine. This essential equipment is crucial for maintaining the safety and effectiveness of the firefighters' gear, ensuring it is properly cleaned and decontaminated after each use. The upgraded gear washing machine will enhance the department's ability to protect its firefighters from harmful contaminants and extend the lifespan of their gear.
The contribution to Bread by the Bay Food Pantry will significantly impact their mission to nourish the community. It will be used to provide eggs, fresh produce, and meat to those in need, ensuring that more individuals and families have access to nutritious food.
