Our online banking is back up and you should be able to login from a desktop computer or mobile app. In addition, many ACH files have posted, so you should be a ble to see those type of transactions, including payroll checks, in your account.

We have more information on the status of the outage issue. The core bank software system we use, Fiserv, is experiencing issues as a result of the global outage. We know that it currently affects login to online banking for consumers and businesses as well as ACH processing which has delayed the receipt of paychecks from some payroll vendors. Fiserv is actively working to fix these issues.

As we learn more, we will give you updates. We apologize for the inconvenience and our staff is working hard to minimize the impact on you.

Rest assured, SNBT has NOT BEEN directly affected by the CrowdStrike outage. While there is a global issue affecting many of our country's largest companies, SNBT is open for business.

What's the issue?

A cybersecurity software company called CrowdStrike - which SNBT does NOT use - did a software update yesterday which did not work correctly. Companies that use CrowdStrike are having problems with their systems until the software issue is fixed.  SNBT does NOT use CrowdStrike; therefore, our banking functions are up and running.

Why don’t I see my paycheck?

Large companies using a specific payroll processing vendor had issues processing their payroll overnight. Therefore, those paychecks were NOT sent to SNBT. Please Note: This is not a problem at SNBT - we did not receive the payroll money because the payroll processor had an issue with CrowdStrike software yesterday.

What should I do?

Be on high alert! Undoubtedly fraudsters will use today's national cyber issues to for their gain - DO NOT FALL FOR IT! Be very cautious of links in emails and social media, etc. Don’t click a link or open an attachment that seems suspicious. Double-check the identity of anyone calling you. Be vigilant and be cautious to keep yourself safe.

There are many other companies in the U.S. which are affected at present. CrowdStrike is actively working with its customers impacted by the defect.

SNBT is up and running for business as usual.
